Friends and Family

In 2006, God used a high school student to change the direction of my life. The following 11 years were about creating a safe space for students to feel known, valued, and loved. In 2017, I stepped away from teaching and entered the counseling world. Applying what I learned from the students about the frustration with counseling helped me shape the type of counselor that I am.  Everyone is unique and in a different part of their story. The reason they are in my office is something they are going through; it is not who they are. My focus is to help people find their purpose and live it out.

You can hear more of my story and the mission of Empower Potential in the video below.

I started Empower Potential to help people live out and tell their stories. Please consider helping me provide that service to the people of Fountain County and the surrounding area.

I appreciate your interest in Empower Potential. The story of how we got here is above. Our goal is to provide mental health services to everyone, regardless of income or insurance. If you are interested in helping, click the donate link below. We appreciate any gift. All donations will directly support our work, helping us expand access and make a real difference in Fountain County and beyond.

As of the time of this writing, we are not a 501 (c) (3) organization, so donations are not tax-deductible. We are working on getting certified as soon as possible.
